They exude the true meaning of having your back and family。 If you have not read any of Susan Stoker’s books they need to be moved to the top of your TBR list。 I could not put this book down once I started and can’t wait for Gramps to get his girl, too! 。。。more

You'd think being kidnapped and held in the jungle of Nigeria would be harrowing enough。 But even after she is rescued and brought back to the US, Molly finds that there is another threat。 Not only that, but her grandparents are dead and it looks like it was homicide。 She has no other family, but Smoke and the team that rescued her are ready to give her whatever support she needs。 The first meeting between Molly and Smoke still makes me laugh thinking about it。 What is not to love about Smoke - You'd think being kidnapped and held in the jungle of Nigeria would be harrowing enough。 But even after she is rescued and brought back to the US, Molly finds that there is another threat。 Not only that, but her grandparents are dead and it looks like it was homicide。 She has no other family, but Smoke and the team that rescued her are ready to give her whatever support she needs。 The first meeting between Molly and Smoke still makes me laugh thinking about it。 What is not to love about Smoke - alpha male, very protective, polite, generous, and a very positive person。 And Molly is strong in her own right, not a complainer about what has happened to her or having to track through the jungle, and she is able to change her perception about herself the more she is around Smoke。 This story will keep you turning the pages until you get to the end。 。。。more

Her engineering skills are worth bupkiss currently - she's at the bottom of a hole as punishment for trying to escape。Smoke is used to just vanishing into space。 He can sneak up on anyone, anywhere。 So literally falling into a hole in the middle of Nowhere, Nigeria, and landing on top of the very woman he's searching for was total luck! But getting Molly out of Nigeria is going to be a slog。I can totally get Molly's mindset。 I'm a bit of a bad-luck magnet myself。 I too struggle with self-esteem issues and I had to laugh because Molly is just a younger, fitter, me! I was actually happy with the way Molly and Smoke tried to reset her mind and her fear - they really had other matters to worry about。 The time for counselling and other treatments, etc was once they got home。I love immersing myself in the geography of where the characters are and I had a headstart this time 'cos my brother in law is Nigerian and I felt like i was really there between the author's descriptions and his。 Fab read! 。。。more

Telling anyone to just change the way they think is degrading。 It's like telling someone with depression to just "be happy"。 I think that was what bothered me the most about the story。 Molly needed counseling, not some ex-military men telling her life wasn't so bad。I know I'm being critical; there were things I liked about the story。 First, there is plenty of action。 Second, the romance is hot。 Overall, I think Trusting Molly was good-there were just some things that really rubbed me wrong。 t POV: 3rd t Tears: no t Trope: damsel in distress, stalker, kidnapping t Triggers: (view spoiler)[Molly is physically abused while kidnapped。 She is not sexually abused (hide spoiler)] t Series/Standalone: stand alone t Cliffhanger: (view spoiler)[no (hide spoiler)] t HEA: (view spoiler)[yes (hide spoiler)]

I loved that about her! She has not only this great heart to her but she is self aware enough to know that something has to change in order for her to find her happiness。 That is the hardest thing for people to do! Smoke is this great human being who lost a lot growing up, just like Molly did, but he chooses not to let it define him。 And he has no problem helping the people that need it, even more than what they would want。 But I actually loved that about him。 He has a need to help the people he cares about-even when they don't want him to。 I was surprised with just how much these two complemented each other。 I thought they wouldn't mesh, and they did beyond belief! The suspense was something I wasn't expecting, but it just added to the story and kept me reading! Now I need Gramps story because the way this ended just left me needing to know even more! 。。。more

3 1/2 Stars for this suspenseful romance。To get away from an ex-boyfriend, Molly goes on an assignment with work to Nigeria。 She ends up being kidnapped along with a group of school girls。 After months in captivity, Silverstone Security comes to rescue the school girls and kill their captor。 They thought that Molly was long dead, but they find her in a hole in the ground half starved to death。 Mark's nickname is Smoke because he can disappear and reappear at will。 But when he trips and falls int 3 1/2 Stars for this suspenseful romance。To get away from an ex-boyfriend, Molly goes on an assignment with work to Nigeria。 She ends up being kidnapped along with a group of school girls。 After months in captivity, Silverstone Security comes to rescue the school girls and kill their captor。 They thought that Molly was long dead, but they find her in a hole in the ground half starved to death。 Mark's nickname is Smoke because he can disappear and reappear at will。 But when he trips and falls into a hole and lands on Molly, he can't get the feisty woman out of his head。 When they get back to the US, Mark moves her into his house for her protection from her ex-boyfriend。The premise of this book is good, but I just couldn't get into the characters。 It just seemed odd that Molly didn't think twice about staying at Mark's place when she knew him for less than a week。 But I did like that she was a strong woman who was resilient。 Mark was a very alpha man and isn't that something every woman wants?I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review。 。。。more
Dar,
I’m always amazed at how Susan comes up with different, and still terrifying, bad guys! I’m always in awe of how she connects our heroes and heroines perfectly。 And I always know I’m in for a ride with bumps, bruises, sexiness, and strength for the characters, and Smoke and Molly were no exception。 These two were quiet, unassuming, and so deep that I was immediately drawn into their story。 They explained their backgrounds, their experiences, their current, and their futures。 I was there with the I’m always amazed at how Susan comes up with different, and still terrifying, bad guys! ObsessiveReader,
Molly has the worst luck ever so being kidnapped while in Nigeria is just more proof of it。 Smoke is happy to find Molly alive and he knows instantly that fate has plans for them。 He just has to keep her safe from her stalker ex。I liked it。 Smoke is a pretty good guy and generous to a fault。
Brooke,
**This book was given to me by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**This was almost like two different stories。 There was the exciting rescue-hostage-in-a-foreign-country portion of the book, and then there was the insta-love-come-stay-with-me-and-I'll-protect-you-from-your-crazy-ex portion of the book。 The beginning, and rescue part of the story, was action packed and exciting。 The crazy ex wants revenge part was just ok。 This was the first book I have read by this author and I did reall **This book was given to me by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**This was almost like two different stories。 There was the exciting rescue-hostage-in-a-foreign-country portion of the book, and then there was the insta-love-come-stay-with-me-and-I'll-protect-you-from-your-crazy-ex portion of the book。 The beginning, and rescue part of the story, was action packed and exciting。 The crazy ex wants revenge part was just ok。 This was the first book I have read by this author and I did really appreciate her writing style and ability to build suspense。 I will definitely read more books by this author。 。。。more
Mindy Lou's Book Review,
My favorite part about Trusting Molly was the way Smoke fell instantly for Molly。 He felt an immediate connection and he worked hard at keeping that connection and making something of it。 He was protective and very caring towards Molly。 He treated her like a queen。 What could you possibly not like about that?Molly was a bit harder for me, only because she had a bit of a negative personality。 That is just a bit of a struggle for me and I wanted her to be better for Smoke。 Good news is he coached My favorite part about Trusting Molly was the way Smoke fell instantly for Molly。 He felt an immediate connection and he worked hard at keeping that connection and making something of it。 He was protective and very caring towards Molly。 He treated her like a queen。 What could you possibly not like about that?Molly was a bit harder for me, only because she had a bit of a negative personality。 That is just a bit of a struggle for me and I wanted her to be better for Smoke。 Good news is he coached her into taking less self blame and thinking more positively。 Another win for Smoke's love and care for her。Like a the rest of the series, the suspense in the book really keeps you engaged to what is happening in the book。 I also really love seeing all the same main characters in each book。 I can't wait for Gramps to get his HEA! 。。。more

Thank you Netgalley, publisher and Susan Stoker for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!I have read the previous two books in the Silverstone Series and I absolutely loved them。 Susan Stoker has quickly become one of my favorite authors。 Trusting Molly is the third book in the Silverstone series and boy did it not disappoint。 It was the perfect blend of high powered action and swoon worthy romance。 Molly has having the worst case of bad luck but thank goodness Mark literally dives onto her t Thank you Netgalley, publisher and Susan Stoker for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!I have read the previous two books in the Silverstone Series and I absolutely loved them。 Susan Stoker has quickly become one of my favorite authors。 Trusting Molly is the third book in the Silverstone series and boy did it not disappoint。 It was the perfect blend of high powered action and swoon worthy romance。 Molly has having the worst case of bad luck but thank goodness Mark literally dives onto her to save her from that bad luck。 I devoured this story in 1 day that's how good it was but I'm not really surprised because all of Susan Stoker's books suck you in from the beginning。 The chemistry between the two main characters and the inclusion of Mark's (aka Smoke) crew light up the page。 The end of every story really starts the next book which really draws you in。 I can't wait to read Gramps story! I can't wait to read the continuation of this series! 。。。more
